Long Bay College Bike & Scooter Shelter
The existing traditional bike racks were no longer suitable for modern bikes with wider tyres. As a result, students were using walkway posts to secure their bikes and scooters, creating a health and safety hazard for students and staff navigating the pathways to and from class.
To address this issue, a purpose-built bike and scooter shelter, along with new secure hoops, has recently been completed. The new facility provides students with a safe, practical, and dedicated space to store their bikes and scooters securely, while keeping pathways clear and improving accessibility across the school.
