With Kris as her husband, Wendy has acted as his sounding board. She has been on the Watershed journey since its conception and has been involved in its growth. Wendy is perhaps the risk averse one and by not being too involved in the “day to day” HQ operations, can point out things otherwise not considered.
Wendy has a long administration/secretarial and management history, predominantly in the legal industry. She worked in the Rotorua Crown Office as Jury Trial Administrator/Paralegal to the then Crown Solicitor, John McDonald, a position she held for a number of years. However, in 2002 she headed to Auckland, working for a variety of corporates and law firms. Prior to becoming Mum to Jack in 2009, Wendy held the position of Office Manager in a boutique law firm.
In 2015, Wendy and Kris moved to Tauranga, to be nearer to family. She continues to support Watershed from the Tauranga office, overseeing the day to day running of Watershed's Excavation & Siteworks division (refer Watershed Excavation & Siteworks).
In her spare time, she relishes spending time with family and friends, mountainbiking, strengthening her core with Pilates and reading.
